Caliber Controls Inc. is in the BAS and Lab controls industry. We work in critical environments like clean rooms, operating rooms, and hospitals. These are just a few examples of critical environments. A critical environment is described as a building that must meet specific criteria for air filtration and temperature changes. For example, a hospital operating room may have a specific number of times the air must move through a HEPA filter before the air in that operating room is clean enough to perform the procedure on the patient. If the air is not clean, the patient is vulnerable to contracting an infection.
Another example of a critical environment is a research laboratory. In this scenario, we would install laboratory control air valves in the ceiling that are designed to pressurize rooms and react quickly as the environment changes. These systems can provide negative or positive room pressures to keep contaminants from entering the lab or prevent contagious pathogens from getting out.
We install the following temperature control systems:
- Siemens Controls
- Johnson Controls
- Automated Logic
